Each player enters Deadwood with the highest of the following bounties:
Doomtown co-Designer â 5 Bounty
PBE co-owner â 4 Bounty
Marshal event winner â 3 Bounty
PBE PT or team member â 2 Bounty
Drifter â 1 Bounty
Bonuses to starting bounty:

This is a âcome and goâ event â dudes can drift into Deadwood or leave at any time. Find someone who isnât involved in a game and Call âem out! They canât refuse! Have at it and play a game of Doomtown!
The ânuts n boltsâ
After a match, the winning player divides the other playerâs pre-match bounty into theirs (Losing player gains 0 bounty), e.g. Loser/ Winner. Add this to their previous bounty for their new bounty.
example: Designer (5 bounty) defeats PBE Team Member (2 bounty)
Designer adds 0.4 bounty (2/5) and now has 5.4 bounty
(round to tenths, lost decimals NOT tracked or remembered)
If PBE Team won, it would be:
PBE Team adds 2.5 bounty (5/2) and now has 4.5 bounty
This encourages âlevel playâ e.g. top players playing each other (and some strategy of the call outs).
While a mismatch doesnât gain that much for the winning player, losers get 0 points. Think of it as betting on 20-1 long shot horses. You can win big, but more often, you lose and gain nothing at the time.
