Flight of the Lepus, Leaving Shootout Location (Sheriff Eli follow-up)

Reading over the ruling from Sheriff Eli Waters prompted a discussion on Discord.

Sheriff Eli was ruled that he isn’t removed from the posse/shootout by virtue of using his movement ability not removing him from a Shootout explicitly.

Flight of the Lepus was clearly designed to remove dudes from the Shootout, but it doesn’t explicitly remove them from the Shootout and doesn’t necessarily send the dudes home booted (nor does it have the magic term “send home booted” that contains the Shootout removal even when you do choose to boot).

How does Flight of the Lepus work with this ruling?

Under discussion currently in rules!

After much discussion, there were some additional unintended consequences that came along with the ruling on Eli. We will be reversing that decision (please check the other threads, to see how those questions were answered)

To be included within the rulebook will be the following:

If a dude in a posse moves away from the location of a shootout, or moves home, that dude automatically leaves their posse.

What this means is, this ensures that if you Flight dudes home, they will leave their respective posses.
