Well, getting others to fight their battles for them, while keeping their hands just clean enough that they can plead innocence, is absolutely the Black River way of doing things. Also, if BR will be the 4th ring faction in dodge, maybe one or both of the Morgans will have a faction switch?
That’s cool about Andreas! I know that Erin Knight is based on Mr. Lapp’s daughter (alas, I didn’t know at the time, so didn’t bring my card to be signed at Worlds), Dr. Brian Foxworth was a Doomtown winner, and Louis Pasteur was a real person, as were the Cowboy gang and the Earps and Doc Holliday, but are there any more characters based on real people?

Minor correction on Erin Knight - that’s former UK playtester Dan Knight’s daughter (she was signing copies of her card at Worlds!). To the best of my knowledge Lapp doesn’t have a child.
Geronimo (from 2T2D) is another historical character. Might be one or two more that I’ve missed?
