Inner Struggle

Rulebook says that only cards attached to opponent’s Deeds/Dudes change their controller. There’s nothing about cards attached to Home/Outift. So Inner Struggle’s trait :

“While this card is booted, reduce your shootout hand rank by 1.
If you reveal an illegal draw hand and the owner of this card has a legal hand, boot this card.”

affects always only owner of this card?

Condition

While this card is booted, reduce your shootout hand rank by 1.

If you reveal an illegal draw hand and the owner of this card has a legal hand, boot this card.

Cheatin’ Resolution: Attach this card to the cheatin’ player’s home, booted. That player discards one random card from their play hand.

Thanks for the question @kempy

We are going to update the rulebook in the future to capture the proper intent of the controller changing, so for now, please play the card as intended.

Therefore the official ruling will be the following:

The player whose deck the Inner Struggle came from is still the owner of the card. The player that has the Inner Struggle attached to their home now becomes the card’s official controller.

We will update the rulebook to reflect this.
