It's Who You Know and Shotguns

When cards look at bullet rating but a fight is started using It’s Who You Know is the bullets or the influence used (ie. Shotgun)?

Bullets.

It’s who you know changes what we do when we get to drawing hands

Can I politely request we get another look at this, if the official answer is using bullets for things like shotguns? The card text says:

Noon: One of your dudes calls out an opposing dude at their location. All dudes in both posses use their influence rather than their bullet rating for the shootout (but keep their bullet type). Your dude becomes a stud for this shootout.

There is no mention of it only being for the shooter - only “for the shootout”, which makes it very confusing if it’s only supposed to be for the shooter.

Just wanted to follow up as RT is busy with Templating but we should have a new wording for you.

While we understand the text of the card we are looking at both being consistent with the AEG ruling and looking at the interactions and implications the card will have in reversing the ruling.

For now, the Influence remains for use for draw hand purposes; for cards like Shotgun and Point Blank, continue to use actual bullet ratings. A rewording will be issued regardless of the final ruling.
