Marcia Ridge and Controller Abilities

In the context of the ruling in this thread how should Marcia Ridge work now? All deed abilities? Only old cards?

Marcia allows you to use deed abilities as if you control them. The actual controller also has access to the ability. Thread will remain open for any follow up questions.

To further clarify, any ability on a deed that is just “noon, react, or other” that doesn’t specify “owner” is a “controller” ability. I think, but not 100% that there are currently only controller abilities on deeds. Controller was removed from the text box because it was considered superfluous and we wanted that text space for more words!

Hope this helps!

If that’s the case, then this line in the rulebook should probably be changed:

Most abilities on deeds can only beused by that deed’s controller, whether or not the controller is also the owner. This is noted by the word “Controller” in front of the deed’s ability.
