Stud dude vs "Becomes a stud"

Is there any difference between a dude that has a printed stud bullet and a draw dude who is given a stud bonus? Are they both considered to be stud dudes?

Many thanks for the question.

In order for us to proceed further we would need to know what interaction this would be relevant to.

If I have a Deputy who is a draw and I play Faster on the Draw on him, can I then boot/discard that dude to fulfill the requirements for The Law Goes Underground (“stud dude”)?

Or is my dude still considered a draw, even after playing Faster on the Draw?

He is a stud at that point, unless your opponent plays something to turn him into a draw again (like sun in yer eyes)

He would keep the stud until changed by another action or the shootout ends.

So in this scenario, is it accurate to now say “My dude is a stud” @crx3800?

In other words, there is no difference between a “stud dude” and a “dude with a stud bonus”?

As a friendly reminder, the Rules Team is on hand to assist and clarify with rulings. As always, please reference the specific interaction you’re inquiring about and they’ll be happy to assist
