While chatting pre Epitaph this weekend I had an idea

New format/deck building exercise/idiocy (delete as applicable):

Your starting posse can only be 4 cards
Your deck can only include 4 different cards by name but you get 12 of each. (you cannot take jokers)

For those looking to grow playgroups after the Kickstarter, as well as enjoying a fun deck building exercise, I suggest the 2-1-1-1 format:

  • 2 base sets (or 1x for an even tougher challenge)
  • 1 pinebox: as many cards as you like from this
  • 1 saddlebag: as many cards as you like from this
  • 1 set of 4x any single other card

It levels the playing field if people have different collections and gives veterans interesting deck building choices. :slight_smile:
