New Ruling on Force Field

“Repeat Resolution, Pay X Ghost Rock: Raise your draw hand rank by X for this round. Your hand rank cannot exceed your opponent’s hand rank. You may not use any other card’s Cheatin’ Resolutions or Resolution effects.”

The last sentence raises a couple questions:

  • Can the owner of Force Field use a Cheatin Resolution first, like Coach Whip, and then for its next resolution, use the Force Field resolution?

  • Does the last sentence mean that, after Force Field is used, no additional resolutions can used by the user of Force Field for the entirety of the shootout, or is the limitation restricted to just the shootout round Force Field is used on?

Yes you may play Coachwhip before using the Force Field.

Resolutions only last until the end of the round. We were going to add that in the text, but it duplicates what is already in a recent rulebook change.
