I feel like there are some cards that have nicknames that I use instead of the proper name. “Thunder Boy” is AC/DC and the Bio-Charged Neutralizer is the proton pack. Any other fun ones?
To avoid confusion I tend to refer to the original Outfit cards by different names so they don’t share the name with their faction.
Law Dogs = Sheriff’s Office
Fourth Ring = Big Top
MCC = Morgan Estate
Sloan Gang = Whoops, how did this get in my deck
Also i exclusivley call Nicodemus “MAYOR Whateley” because “he earned that title fair and square and you will show him some respect!”
kidnapin’ is 7 of clubs, because I can’t think of another 7 of clubs I would ever play
Most of the time dude and deed names end up getting shortened, same for some goods.
In a similar vein I’ve ended up with names for some often used abilities or moves. Here are a few off the top of my head:
Using Makaio’s ability is ‘performing legal black magic’.
Using the Ol’ Howard-haunted Railroad Station adjacent to your home to move just to trigger Morgan Stables card cycle is ‘doing the Station-Stables Shuffle’.
Likewise Phil Swinford’s trait firing is ‘The Swinford Shuffle’.
I like nicknames for dude’s abilities, too! I need to think of one for Luke, because his gets used all. The. Time.
Not exactly a card nickname, but an ability nickname…
I like to say that Arnold Stewart “goes fishing” for deeds when he uses his ability.
Oh, and Yagn’s Mechanical Skeleton is definitely a Gundam.
‘Travis’ and ‘Rico’ are often verbed during pre-game.
“Are you going to Travis? I’ll Rico.”
The only card I have a nickname for that I can think of off the top of my head is DJ Black Elk.

My 4R builds typically start 2 Paglaccios - I call 'em Thing 1 and Thing 2

Andreas Andregg = Andy Andy
Town Council = Ham and Mayonnaise! Ham and Mayonnaise! Ham and Mayonnaise!
Fool Me Once…= Shame on you (repeated every time they cheat)
Marion Seville = The Duke
Ol’ Howard = Haunted Howey’s
Xui Yin Chen = Chun Li
Plasma Drill = Death Star (expensive as hell, unwieldy to use, and can remove locations)
Rabbit’s Deception = Yoink!, or , Nope!
Shi Long Peng = Shi Long Ping Pong
Steel Archer = Jeff Goldblum
Xemo’s Turban = Carnac the magnificent’s turban
Androcles Brocklehurst = Colonel (and/or) Sanders

Favourites (among lots of good names) here are DJ Black Elk and Steele Archers as Jeff Goldblum.
Good idea for a thread @Pintyhet.
Incorrect.
She’s Ling Xiaoyu.
Oh, I forgot, Wendy’s Teethkockers are “pulling them off” or “Ted’s boots”
The teethkickers were modeled after an excellent cosplay at Gencon '14. As she is native Texan born n bred, I call 'em by what I originally nominated:
Wendy’s Sh*tkickers. Accept no substitutes
Henry Moran= The Moran
Jacqueline Isham= Knife Fight Barbie
Mario Crane (exp)= Super Mario
Max Baine (exp)= Sad Max
Abram Grothe= Keanu Reeves
Rick Henderson= Ricky Hendo
T’ou Chi Chow= The Chow
Benjamin Washington= Bennie
Asakichi Cooke= Kichi
Travis Moone= O-S-H-I-T. That spells “Moone”
Valeria Batten= Baileria
And last but not least…
Sloane= Mai Waifu
That is actually how you pronounce Valeria…
To me, Benjamin Washington is always Benji.
T’ou Chi Chow is announced as ‘The God of Bandits’ when he enters play, but I just go with Chow after that.
Occasionally, Hamshanks is referred to as ‘Shonky Ham’
Attaching The Blighted via a Shoppin’ play = buying some friends
