Doomtown @PAX Unplugged: Prelude to Twilight
As we prepare for the Twilight Protocol Series events next year (http://pineboxentertainment.com/2018/08/04/the-twilight-protocol-destination-events-in-2019/), this special Abomination Series event will not only allow players to vote on the terrors they want to see our characters face in the upcoming cards and fiction, but also participants will influence the tools used by the heroes and the Reckoners through this event.
Each round, a table will be chosen that represents the conflict between good and evil; a player using a Servitor/Fearmongers v. a player not using a Servitor or using a Fearmonger outfit. The winning player will name a new card that will be representative of a Dude, Good, Deed, or Action that will help their chosen side in the upcoming conflict.
Stay tuned as this coincides with an online vote, where players will have the opportunity to choose which character in Deadlands or Doomtown lore that will narrate the upcoming Twilight Protocol Series Fiction; a trilogy that will shake the future of the Weird West, influenced by you, the players. This fiction will run in a different timeline from our continued following of Wendy and Lucy in their new ventures through Tombstone.
The Pine Box team is currently hard at work on finalizing the next expansion and applications for the Abomination Series will be posted soon. Too Tough to Die will be legal for this event series.
Plans for PAX Unplugged will include Greenhorn casual/learn to play events on Friday and Sunday, a Friday night Doomtown social at the new Iron Hill in Center City, and a Saturday night Deadlands RPG session of ‘Twilight Protocol,’ following the Prelude to Twilight event at High Noon on Saturday, December 1st. We hope to see you pardners out in Philadelphia for our last major Doomtown gathering of 2018
