Gen Con is our ‘home away from home’ convention and as always, we have a full lineup of events this year.
This schedule will be updated with more socials as they are announced.
We will also update the schedule with any faction themed dinners or other socials as they are announced. Please note there are no ‘locked’ promotional cards for specific socials. For instance, the Yevgeni ‘Is a Boar’ promo will be for anyone attending 7th Sea socials so there is no ‘one way’ to get the promotional card for those unable to attend specific venues.

Wednesday, August 2: Annual HogKillin’ Time: Doomtown Meet N’ Greet Revolver Round-Up 3pm-7pm

Join the PBE Team for our annual meet & greet. This year Doomtown players are encouraged to bring a Revolver of decks, one of each faction, to play against members of the community throughout the afternoon. The event is free, and players will receive an early convention promotional card.
Wednesday, August 2: Training Grounds: 7th Sea Meet N’ Greet Gathering 7:30pm-11:30pm

Our social event continues at the Hilton Garden Inn with more games of Doomtown and introductory games of 7th Sea: City of Five Sails. The final Kickstarter product will be on hand for convention and events kick off right here at this mini salon. A social promo card will be provided.
Note: Players can have access to the PBE ballroom through Saturday night of the convention for $30 and receive a promotional card pack.
Thursday, August 3: Doomtown: Deadwood Domain of War Multiplayer Round-Up 12pm

Welcome to Deadwood and Weird West Edition! Throwdown in this multiplayer version of the Pine Box Entertainment expandable card game set in the world of the Pinnacle Entertainment Group Deadlands RPG. Players will engage in 3 rounds of multiplayer games of Doomtown using both the new Weird West Edition and the new Deadwood Domain of War town square marker. This game will be available for purchase at Gen Con or players can use their Kickstarter product. Alternatively, players can use one of the starter decks provided by staff. Promotional prizes will be provided to all attendees with an opportunity to vote to influence the ongoing storyline and affect future card expansions.
Friday, August 4: Doomtown: Weird West Edition Marshal Badge World Championship Round-Up 10am

The first Weird West Edition world championship impacting the world of Doomtown as players compete in the Pine Box Entertainment expandable card game set in the RPG world setting of Deadlands. Doomtown (previously known as Doomtown: Reloaded) continues the tradition of the Marshal event for the first time using Weird West Edition with this 2023 Badge round-up. The winner of this event, following the previous years, will work with design to create a card that will appear in an upcoming release. The rulebook, floor rules, errata, and FAQ can all be found at pineboxentertainment.com. Top 8 will take place directly following the swiss rounds. Players can use their Kickstarter delivery cards or purchase Doomtown: Weird West Edition at Gen Con prior to the event. There will be a lunch break.
Friday, August 4: 7th Sea RPG: Saint Terni’s Day Riot 9am & 2pm

This is a one-shot scenario taking place during the Saint Terni’s Day Riot from the 7th Sea: City of Five Sails card game Heartstrings ongoing fiction piece. 4 friends find their night of wine and revelry interrupted my a City-wide Riot. At the request of the infamous Soline el Gato, Prince of Thieves, our upstart heroes must safekeep a precious Syrneth artefact. They will spend the uproarious night keeping it from the scheming Red Hand Gang and militant Eisen commandos sweeping the streets.
Saturday, August 5: 7th Sea City of Five Sails: World Championship Festival 10am

The first world championship impacting the world of Théah as players compete in the Pine Box Entertainment expandable card game set in the Chaosium RPG world setting of 7th Sea. All participants will have an opportunity to purchase the game or use their Kickstarter fulfilled product to build a deck before the start of Round 1. Prizes will be provided, and the grand prize includes the decision to create a card in an upcoming expansion. Top players in both the swiss rounds and representing their chosen faction will also have an opportunity to influence the ongoing storyline and additional cards released in future sets. Please visit pineboxentertainment.com or meet with staff at the Pine Box HQ table to familiarize yourself with the game prior to the event. Players will go through 5 rounds of swiss pairings. The Top 16 (pending attendance) players will play off in elimination rounds that will take place on Sunday.
Saturday, August 5: 2nd Annual Retro Event for the Original 7th Sea CCG 6pm

A throwback tournament celebrating the release of the new 7th Sea City of Five Sails card game. This original 7th Sea CCG event is a game of swashbuckling and ship-to-ship combat. This event will run 4 rounds plus a final confrontation. Extra decks for each faction will be available for loan. The winner of the event will choose a card from the original AEG 7th Sea collectible card game to be reimagined in the new 7th Sea City of Five Sails card game. Generous prizes for all attendees. Format: All AEG cards (including the Parting Shot expansion) plus the new fan set, CABORA’S COAST, are legal for this event. Note: CABORA’S COAST includes important MRP for existing cards.
